Situated at the lower end of a long open valley, Kalo Livadi is part of another group of southern beaches reachable only via the Ano Mera road. Regular bus service from Mykonos town allows access to this beautiful beach  where good food at the restaurants on the beach and some hotels and studios for your accommodation is available.A short, dusty walk over the headland at Elia takes you to KALO LIVADI the last port of call for the regular taxi boats.  The valley behind is particularly scenic and scattered with small white farmhouses. A place for those who prefer to avoid the crowds and the cruising.

 Here, you will meet some of the most stylish holidaymakers in the Cyclades. It is quite windy (the wattle fence on the left "protects" you somewhat), so try to go on a calm day. There are straw umbrellas, sun beds, beach service and a life-guard in a straw watch-tower.
